I Want To Know Jesus

The Gospel is the Way to Heaven. Have you heard it?

Our lives and everything around us have been cursed by sin. Sin is in us and all around us. Since
the Garden of Eden, sin has separated us from God. That’s why we feel shame and it’s why we
have a hard time finding peace.

Sin also has a devastating effect on our eternal dwelling. Sin entered and infected paradise
when Adam and Eve disobeyed their Creator. Heaven is holy and no sin will ever enter there.
Here is where the Gospel (the Good News from God) makes ALL the difference in this life and
eternal life. The Heavenly Father sent the Divine Son—Jesus to come to earth and make
atonement for our sins so we can be with Him in Heaven. Consider these words from 1 John
1:7, “The blood of Jesus Christ, His Son, cleanses us from all sin.” John the Baptist saw Jesus and
said, “Behold the Lamb of God Who takes away the sin of the world.”

Jesus was sacrificed on the cross for you and me. He rose from the dead. Now, He extends to
you the opportunity to receive Him into your life and then become a saved child of God. John
1:12 says, “Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right
to become children of God.”

You can give your life to Jesus right now. When He walked the earth, He invited people to
“Come and follow” Him. Are you ready to surrender your heart to Him, confess Him as your
Lord and Savior, and follow Him? He’s ready and He’s waiting. Talk to Him...
